CardConvert command line: specify file?

TimothyWHilton Oct 7, 2011 04:53 PM

Hello,

Does anyone know if it is possible to tell CardConvert, in the ccf file or from the command line, to only convert one file within a directory? My field sensors report two different files: one reports at thirty-minute intervals, the other at 10 hz. I wish to convert the 30-minute file to TOA5 format and the 10 hz file to TOB1. It seems that CardConvert tries to apply a ccf file to all files in the directory.

The ccf file I am using is below.

Also, does CardConvert support command line options other than 'runfile='? If so, are these options documented anywhere?

Many thanks! Tim

Take a look in the current LoggerNet manual at section B.4.5 regarding TOB32.exe. This may work for what you are trying to do.

Thanks, Dana. This could be really helpful. Is there, by any chance, a method to specify the output file name in addition to the path?

Thanks!
Tim

It doesn't look like it. If I find out differently, I will post.

Hi,

I am looking to automate the conversion process using CardConvert a binary file into ascii TOA5 format. I tried the command as follows:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Campbellsci\CardConvert\CardConvert.exe" runfile="C:\Campbellsci\CardConvert\lastrun.ccf"

However, it asks initially, that the number of files to be converted is large and it will take time. I have to say yes everytime. Is there a way to automate such that this initial question is not being asked?

Regards
Ashim
