NL-121 with PC200 via devconfig

hi all,

just wondering if anyone have tried  using NS-121 to connect to cr-3000 via pc200w devconfig?

is it possible to send/retrieve program and collect data from table in the logger?

Hi,

Device Configuration Utility  provides the connection via IP address too so I think it can be done. Perhaps you need a crossover cable between PC and NL121. Data unloading seem difficult.

I actually have no means of testing it out yet because i did not have the NL-121 with me yet. 

So I'm just reading the manual. Isn't the NL-121 auto MDI/MDIX thus i will not need specific cross/straight cable?

Hi,

in my doubt I've always used a crossover cable, but I know that many recent ethernet devices do not need it, they self-configure. Perhaps this specification should be mentioned in the NL121 manual.
