I have a customer that needs to communicate with a device which speaks TTL serial, meaning logic high is 5V and logic low is 0V. Traditional RS-232 standard defines the voltage levels that correspond to logical one and logical zero levels for the data transmission and the control signal lines. Valid signals are either in the range of +3 to +15 volts or the range −3 to −15 volts with respect to the "Common Ground" and Campbell's pseudo RS-232 uses 0V as logic high and +5V as logic low. Can the serial port logic be inverted on the CR300 so that C1 or C2 speak TTL serial?
I looked at the data sheet incorrectly, +5V is high and 0V is low... My mistake.
I think I am covered and I answered my own question. Thank you anyway.
