Hi everyone,
I'm attempting to connect a CNR-1 to a CR1000X datalogger and the values I'm getting back don't seem correct. I built a custom bridge for the PT100 which seems to function fine as the body temperature values are the only ones that make sense.
The Pyranometers and Pyrgeometers read only between +/- 10 W/m2. The calibration coefficient is 11.07uV/(W/m2) and I'm using the multiplier 1000/11.07=90.334. The program is the Cr1000 program copied from the CNR-1 manual.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Cheers,
Rainer
OK so I was being somewhat silly. I was looking at the uncorrected pyrgeometer values which were quite small as the room is pretty isothermal. Likewise the pyranometer values are small. Tested today in the sun and the numbers make much more sense.
There does seem to be a negative offset in the pyranometers though - does anyone have experience with this? I understand that the pyrgeometers are displaying a difference from sensor body temperature but the pyranometers should theoretically read 0 when placed in a box. There seems to be an offset of -10 to -12 W/m2 on both pyranometers.
Also most of the numbers from the default program look wrong because it calculates net radiations before doing the sensor body temperature correction for the pyrgeometers. Not sure why it is written this way.
