Use an IR100 infrared thermometer with a CR1000X logger

Hi! I am trying to connect an IR100 infrared thermometer to a CR1000X logger, in differential mode. I have found some example code for a CR1000, but it does not work for the CR1000X. Have someone tried this combination before? Or perhaps someone has an example for a differential sensor setup?
