I want to perform a vibration testing/modal analysis with two CR 9052IEPE cards with scanning frequency of 10kHz. I am using 10 accelerometers and an impact hammer on a concrete beam. The testing is done in the way that I roll the hammer along the beam and perform 5 impacts per each accelerometer.
I have issues with the time that is necessary for data collection. I've tried to collect the data for an interval of 30 seconds (or 300 000 records) and it took close to 40 mins to write the data to the table. So, this means if I use higher scanning frequncy, e.g. 20kHz, it will take even more than 40 mins to write the data to table.
Can this be overcome somehow? Can I reduce the time for data collection and is it possible to use the higher scaning frequencies and collect the data for less time?
