All,
If the title of this topic looks weird, that's because it is. We have a CR1000 connected to a plethora of sensors transmitting data via VHF radio back to our main office. Every once in a while, we will lose communicaiton with the tower. When the communication resumes, it adds dates that are a) not in the correct order, or b) many years into the future. An example of this can be found in the snippet below:
DateTime, RecordNum, ....
"2017-05-13 08:28:00",54633,...
"2017-05-13 08:29:00",54634,...
"2017-05-13 08:30:00",54635,...
"2017-05-13 08:31:00",54636,...
"2053-11-20 15:34:24.000000040",33554645,...
"2017-05-13 10:22:00",...
"2017-05-13 10:23:00",...
"2017-05-13 10:24:00",...
I'm asking to see if anyone has dealt with this problem before and if there is an easy way to solve it. I should note that I have switched dataloggers when this problem first arose and that did not solve the problem. Thanks in advance.

It's been a few years, but did you ever figure out what was causing this? We are seeing something similar with a couple CR300 loggers. The timestamps are no more than a day ahead, and seem to come at random every few weeks and contain unique data. We haven't been able to pinpoint any difference between these loggers and the many others that don't show this behaviour. Campbell says nobody else has reported seeing this.
