I'd like to shut off the module completely to conserve power. This means that power consuming tasks such as access to flash card and ethernet communication is turned off.
EthernetPower will only turn the Ethernet port off. It does not shut off the harware that communicates with the CF card.
Is there an estimate on the amount of power turning off the Ethernet port saves?
NL116 is specified to use 3mA when the ethernet is turned off.
@JDavis,
Do you know how long it takes for the port to become active/pass data once it goes from off to on (assuming static IP in the Logger)?

I have never timed it. The hardware initializes pretty fast. All the memory is retained by the datalogger, so there isn't any long boot cycle.
