The Connect window connects to and displays data from one datalogger at a time. You can work with a station while actively connected to it or when you are in a disconnected state.
If you are only performing one task, such as collecting data, it may be more efficient NOT to actively connect to the datalogger. LoggerNet will contact the datalogger, collect the data, and end communication.
