Watchdog errors indicate the datalogger has crashed and reset itself. A few watchdogs indicate the datalogger is working as designed and are not a concern. Reset the watchdog counter and make note of the date and how many there were. If the watchdog counter continues to increase:
- Check for loose or shorted sensor wires
- Check that your power supply is grounded
If those are not the apparent cause then, contact technical support; the datalogger probably needs an operating system (OS) update or repair by Campbell Scientific.
